We are working together to recruit an experience Blow Mould Technician for their 100 strong plant operation team in Leeds.

Reporting directly to the Engineering Supervisor and working a continental shift, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team and be able to demonstrate a good hands-on approach.

Key Task and Activities

  • Setting up machines and observing their operation.
  • Ensuring the manufactured products meet specifications.
  • Making adjustments as necessary and tears down the equipment.
  • Removing finished products from the moulds and may trim excess plastic from parts.
  • Performing minor/routine maintenance and repairs.

Our ideal candidate

  • Experience in either blow or injection moulding
  • From a FMCG background
  • Experience of working with plastics
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Knowledge of how to use correct tools
  • Ability to use visual observation of gauges and listening to mechanical sounds to make sure the equipment is working properly.
