Service Coordinator

Location: Yate (Hybrid - 4 days in the office, 1 day from home)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established global organisation for a Service Coordinator to join their team in Yate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and highly organised individual to provide administrative and operational support within a fast-paced service environment. You will be a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring enquiries are managed efficiently and service levels are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of customer enquiries by telephone, including urgent and emergency requests.
  • Coordinate deliveries for new starters, training courses, exchanges and emergency orders.
  • Act as the main liaison between customers and internal departments.
  • Manage an online helpdesk, responding to queries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Accurately record service activity and contribute to monthly KPI reporting.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for management review and sign-off.
  • Attend and support meetings with customer representatives and operational managers.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service function.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, coordination or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
  • A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable

  • Experience using SAP, Jira or similar systems.
  • Experience working within a service, logistics or operational support environment.
